Through guided tours, visitors will explore exhibits on Burlington County history and meet some of its most famous residents.  Guided tours include the museum galleries, the How Family at Home exhibit  (in the Society’s Bard How House), and the historic house museums of both James Fenimore Cooper and Captain James Lawrence.

Visitors to the Children's History Center will enjoy hands-on games and activities in our museum galleries as well as a trip back in time to The How Family at Home. This exhibit housed in the historic Bard How house, is a fully interactive colonial house including: try-on clothing, an 18th century merchant's shop with play money and goods, a colonial kitchen, quill pen writing and period games.
